Measuring & Installation

3 easy steps for beautiful measurement

Tips for Measuring Your Blind

*Use a metal tape for accuracy. Make sure your tape measure is level.

*Specify all measurements in mm. Use exact measurements. Do not round up or down to the nearest cm.

*Decide whether your blind is going to be an inside or an outside mount.

Inside Mount (hangs inside the window frame):

Step 1 – Measure the drop by taking the measurement from the top of the frame to the bottom. Do this in 3 places; left hand side, middle and right hand side of the frame.

Step 2 – Measure the width of the frame from wall to wall. In 3 places; top, middle and bottom of the frame.

Step 3 – The shortest measurement for width and drop is what should be used when ordering your blind.

Outside Mount (mounted on the architrave or outside the frame):

Step 1 – Measure the drop from the top of where you want the blind, to the bottom.

Step 2 – Measure the width of where you would like your blind to be outside the frame.

NOTE: All of the measurements provided are to be the final size of the product. Blinds are provided with brackets, these will be included in the final size of the product.

*The actual fabric width of the roller blind will be 30mm less than the overall measurement, this may create a light gap.

*Different fabric could have different maximum width and drop, please check information before choosing the fabric.
